Refund Policy

At Promptua, we're committed to delivering exactly what we scope and agree on. This policy explains when refunds are applicable and how to request them.
1. Advance Payment (50%)
The advance payment is used to initiate work on your project, allocate team resources, and begin development. As such:
- If you cancel before work begins: A full refund of the advance is available within 24 hours of payment.
- If you cancel after work has begun: A partial refund may be issued based on the percentage of work completed. We will provide a detailed breakdown of work done and calculate a fair refund accordingly.
- If we are unable to deliver: A full refund of all amounts paid will be issued.
2. Final Payment (50%)
The final payment is collected after the project is complete and you have had the opportunity to review it. As such, the final payment is generally non-refundable once collected, unless:
- The delivered project materially differs from the agreed scope document
- There are critical bugs that render the project unusable and cannot be fixed within the free support period
3. Revision and Bug Fixes
Before requesting a refund, we strongly encourage you to use our free post-delivery support period (7 or 14 days) to report bugs or issues. We will fix all genuine bugs at no charge. A refund is considered only if the issue cannot be resolved.
4. What Is Not Refundable
- Requests for features or functionality not in the original scope
- Dissatisfaction due to change of mind or business direction
- Issues caused by third-party service outages (Razorpay, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.)
- Issues arising from client-side hosting or domain configuration
- Projects where the client has not provided required content or approvals within 30 days
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@promptua.com with:
- Your order reference number (e.g., ORD-2025-00001)
- The reason for your refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or documentation
We will respond within 3 business days with our assessment. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (Razorpay) within 5–7 business days.
6. Subscription/Maintenance Plans
Monthly maintenance subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. No further charges will be made after cancellation. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the current billing month.
